I love being in education though i only missed out on being in Uni right now by a day. Last year i studied Psychology, Theatre & Drama, Film, Media and English Language and this year im studying: Film, Media, English Language nad English Lit. Im hoping to get into the top Broadcasting course in the country at Leeds when i go to Uni next year and failing that (hopefully not) Lincoln.
My Mum's a civil servant! But you're Scotish so you're cooler :p I love Sci-fi, LoTR, Stargate, everything to do with the film industry in general, Common Rotation, music and Eddie Izzard is one of the funniest men in this day and age. I hate George Bush, Katie Hill, David Dickinson and Linda Barker. I also can't play poker :p

Since you've admitted to being a geek, I suppose I can come out too, although I'm not quite so much into sci-fi. I love Tolkien though...have you read His Dark Materials? I enjoyed it even more than LOTR!
I should just clear this up, by 'sci-fi' i include everything in the realms of Science Fiction and Fantasy :o) Can't get enough of hte stuff though not ALL sci-fi is appealing. Didn't like War of the Worlds but i haven't told my Dad, he'd kick me out, so i'm waiting until the day i set sail for Uni.

I haven't read his Dark Materials though i've always meant to, i think i might read them soon but at the moment im in pre-production for a documentary on the autobiographical elements that contribute to Steven Spielberg's status as an auteur so im neurotically reading everything i can get on the guy with little room for anything else :os
I didn't study in Leeds - I come from there! Or Dewsbury to be exact...I hope you aren't just talking to me under the misapprehension that I have a sexy Scottish lilt ;O) I sound much more like Sean Bean after a visit to Glasgow or something...I studied in Edinburgh, hence my relocation.
Okay I'll let you off - fantasy is obviously much less geeky *ahem* And I'm nearly 28, much as it surprises me to say that! Shall be having a rather alcoholic weekend in a few weeks...I quite like War of the Worlds too, although more for Jeff Wayne's music than anything!
