Woo, another week completed at work, only another twelve shifts to go. 106 hours so far done. on top of that, in the brief time I get at home inbetween sleep and shifts, playing a couple of poker games per day. Actually tallied my results for a change, and in the last ten days, each of the 30 single-table tournaments I've played has yielded an average profit of almost exactly £7.50. Looking forward to having time to play two or three times as many tables in the day, to see if a reasonable wage can result!
Down side about working in the festival is that I think I've fucked my ears. It must have been the night I emptied a bin full of glass bottles into a wheelie-bin, while not moving my head out of the way. I never realised how sodding loud glass on glass is, especially with unbroken bottles. Must be a lot of resonances amplifying the noise, but it sodding hurt anyway. My ears now just seems sensitive, and music sounds a bit wrong, as if I've picking up different frequencies, or missing some. Hopefully it will improve with rest in September.

cr4k, although my idea of what one would look like was strangely french-onion sellerish for some reason! Oh, and we decided that squirrels are capitalist too.
