Board games
Been put in a boardgaming mood after reading a post by andrewducker who mentioned Dominion and Formula D, neither of which I've played. I could always resurrect my online Blood Bowl teams, but they (being PBEM) don't have the same sort of pleasure as a one-off sit-down gaming session with a bunch of like-minded geeks.
I've still never won a game of Settlers of Catan either. Apart from Carcassonne (which needs more than two players to be particularly enjoyable), I've not been much good at keeping up with the best games of the last decade or two, of which there appear to be many.
Anyone got any board game events planned, pleas invite me along, I'll come along and be over-competitive and a very satisfying beat if that's the sort of person you need! Given that it's such a passion of mine, I really don't do it often enough. Same goes for games (hur hur hur).
