Numb knee

Having looked into the anatomical detail of the nerves around the knee, I think, judging by my symptoms, that I may have severed (or at least severely damaged) the infrapatella branch of the saphenous nerve. This would I think explain the location and type of numbness that I have.

Can any medics out there confirm this?
