Hmmm...sunny.

Can anyone define the word "bling"? It has no meaning to me, but I've seen it randomly occur a couple of times recently - it seems to be in use by fashionable types!

the possession of lots of shiney things, a representation of wealth, comes from the african american community (I think). think J Lo.

J Lo? That would explain why I've never really come across it then!

bling means sparkly, trashy, OTT. Usually someone dripping in gold and diamonds would be very 'bling'. Definitely a J-Lo phrase.

Cheers - don't think I'll be using it much myself - people might get the wrong idea...

But Jenny From The Block's too deep for bling - remember her wise words: "Don't try to blind me wit ya bling bling - thought I told you love don't cost a thing?"
