Advice please!

I am currently filling in a job application...I need references that have known me for three years or more, that are not employers or tutors, past or present. Is it appropriate to just put down friends, and if so, do they need to be doctors or whatever?

Thanks :O)

I would think that putting down close freinds who know you well is fine - it appears to me that they may be looking for character references here :)

I doubt that the people you choose have to be of specific professions, but if you happen to know anyone personally who is in such a job, then cool :)

Perhaps your landlord might be a good one? Or a work colleague as opposed to an employer....

Good luck!

Don't know my landlord, nor doctor, dentist, and I don't work with anyone right now! Just really can't think of anyone apart from friends! Trying to think of any worthwhile friends :O)

Depends if they're wanting Character references I guess.

I'd put down friends, and because you probably have lots that'd volunteer pick ones with impressive job titles if possible ;)
