Reprise due to strange formatting problems...
I'm amused how the energy of somebody on Friday nearly made me go and do a rash, scary thing! I probably would have jumped off a cliff at the time, such was the urgency...in a moment of more sober thought, I went back to my original judgement, and fate can do what it will!
Interesting night in the Holyrood last night, lots of people strangely enough, lots of promotion for the Auld Hoose, and I pointed out to lots of Beltane people that they were much more likely to be able to get Addlestones there than in the Holyrood in the future. Whether that is true or not is another matter - it's quite surreal trying to get people to leave what's been my regular pub for years and go elsewhere, but I suppose Liz can do with every bit of help initially.
The birds are singing, the snow has melted again, and I should go to bed. I think I'm going to enjoy having the flat to myself for a few hours next week - I need to sit down and laugh at myself for a while!
As for Christmas, I'm definitely planning to be sociable for a good percentage of Christmas day, and quite fancy some turkey, so am weighing up options: cook here, then go and find people...go to
purelyskindeep's flat and join in with what's going on there if anything, go to the Auld Hoose and have lunch there (would save me cooking), or anything else that might come up.
queenofsmut - are you still thinking of going pubwards? It would be cool to meet up at some point if you're stuck for ideas or fancy sharing Christmas din-dins.
