I nearly threw my spoon through the telly screen while watching the news. A BNP candidate was saying something like "If we don't do something about it now, this country will be turned into an Islamic republic". Fucking Wanker! Please please please get off your arses and vote on Thursday, if only to make sure these pricks don't get any headway.

At least Channel 4 are giving them airtime, so we can see and hear how stupid and idiotic these bigots actually are.

Urgh, that postal vote was the most inconvenient thing ever!
Instead of taking a quick wander down the road and back, I had to figure out an enormous origami monstrosity, lick envelopes and get someone to witness it all!

I can only think that it's a cynical ploy to reduce voting numbers. No-one who's a teeterer is going to be arsed to fill that thing in, surely?

What? It has to be witnessed?? (Note, I have not looked at my voting papers since they arrived, and was leaving it 'til tomorrow.) Dammit!!

Still, that explains the story my Mum told me the other night about trying to get my Grandma's voting done... "Just put a tick in that nice Kilroy-Silk's box. I think it was a real shame what happened to him, he's lovely. I really miss him from the TV. Be nice, and give him a tick." "Well, yes Mam, but he did write some quite insul-" "Nonsense dear, he was scapegoated. Now tick the box." etc. *sssiiiiggghhhh*

Yeah, seconded... I have to say, it really scares me that these people ever get any votes at all, ever. How, exactly? I mean, the most recent piece of propaganda I've seen from them claimed that "the majority of racially motivated attacks in this country are against white people"... erm, obviously. And my brother was telling me that in Newcastle, they're saying that refugees only come to Britain "because they get a free mobile phone" (actually, this might have been UKIP, but same difference). They don't even bother to offer any 'evidence' for the rubbish they print and say. It just makes me despair at the gullibility and general fuckwittedness of anyone who supports them.

i love their policy of wanting to ban ritual slaughter of animals.. seems like a nice fluffy be-nice-to-the-animals thing, but oh look, it'd seriously fuck some muslim (and possibly other religions') stuff.. :>

Sacry, isn't it? I didn't really think they had particularly widespread support, but they seem to be getting louder :/

*sigh* It's a sorry state of affairs when one is going to vote only to try to prevent the election of utter imbeciles. It's also the main reason I'll be voting...

I think utter imbeciles will get in whomever we vote for!
