As dusk slowly turns into dawn outside my window, I feel flat. Life is...quiet. I continue to meet, chat to and spend time with great and lovely people, but I still feel flat. I have a completely free weekend in front of me, with which I can do whatever I want (until Sunday night's quiz work anyway), and I still feel flat.

I need a holiday.

Might rearrange my room tomorrow. Could even stay in and watch a video later. Might even ask people to join me. We shall see. What do you reckon?

I feel the same. I've just felt strange for a while. Not happy, not unhappy, but I've just got this funny feeling in my stomach that won't go away. Nothing really seems very clear. I'm ambivalent to everything and just looking for something to shake me out of it. Hopefully moving flat will help change things, give me a new routine to get used to.

When it comes to films, I'm glad I haven't done physics since I was 11. At least that way my enjoyment's never spoilt by knowing that the whole plot's ridiculous.

Bizarrely enough, I actually ended up liking the crap science, as I was able to sit down after and pick out the little bits of true stuff, before totally taking apart the rest of it, and then feeling chuffed pink with myself that I can still remember a lot of what I did in paleo-climatology :)
