Typical that I go for one in fifty - no wonder I'm struggling to be happy with anyone!

Trifle update: It's sponged and jellied - now setting.

mmmm, trifle!
i assume you made it with brandy?

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh no - I've no desire ever to ingest brandy, except maybe weakly in brandy sauce! Does nothing for my taste buds...

[identity profile] bookstar.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
what, then, do you use?

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Pineapple jelly with sponge in, and custard on top with pineapple slices. Add cream for taste - simple but lovely! I hope - I've never made one before...

[identity profile] bookstar.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
but doesn't it need alcohol to make it trifle?

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Not in my experience! I think of all the trifles I've had, maybe 10% of them have been alcoholic...maybe more, but not many.

[identity profile] bookstar.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
wow! all the trifle i've had over here has been quite boozy.
maybe that says something about the people making it!

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That's certainly a possibility!

[identity profile] silverclear.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
apparently I'm attracted to 'the seller'

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 09:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Could be worse :OP

Not quite my ESFJ ideal. Maybe you'd only be ideal for me when drunk?

[identity profile] silverclear.livejournal.com 2004-12-24 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
when you're drunk or when I'm drunk? ;-)

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-24 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
:O)

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2004-12-23 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
