we got the Olympics yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I'm very very very very very very very happy about this! Hold me a ticket or ten! If only local life was so good \:

Oh, I forgot to say this last night, but I too am feeling very yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! about the news. :)

I started a savings account in 2002 with my sister to take my parents to the 2012 Olympics 'wherever that may be' (we actually thought New York was the most likely venue, back then) for their 40th wedding anniversary, and by 2012 we'll have more than £5,000 in it. *squee* Must. Get. Tickets. To. Everything! And a 5-star hotel. Wheeeee.... (Might need to book the hotel now, though, huh?)

I'm not booking anything yet - a little too early I think! Will definitely be there though, unless I'm working in bloody New Zealand or somewhere silly!
