Is it just me, or is David Cameron just Tony Blair with a facelift? He sounds the same, and is just as shiny! A cunning ploy by Blair to hold onto power...

Have you ever seen them both, in the same place, at the same time??????

I was going to ask that but forgot!

I'm quite sure if he were to become Prime Minister then we would soon come to appreciate how very much he is different from Blair. For all TB gets a slagging for his unpopular policies, he's still got a good track record on reforms since coming to power compared to the Tories. Also bear in mind that as the political spectrum has shifted to the right, 'New Conservative' is gonna be more right wing than ever before.

Don't worry, I know that Blair in many ways is a closet lefty, and I'd rather slice my own testicles in two than vote tory :P

Agreed. Shame Clarke didn't get a chance. He's far more left than Blair. That would have been silly. Be good to see some stupid right-winger guy like Davis get in as it means they'll not have a chance. I fear that if Cameron gets the job however... well... it might just happen. GAH!

Indeed - that's what really scares me.
