Ooh the storms are arriving. I'm still going to go for a run, because I'm a numpty like that, and it will make the shower afterwards all the better.

All the best to troops past and present for Armistice Day.

And two fingers to the idiot thicko racist shits that seem to pop up in the poker room every time someone happens to speak another language.

One of the places I play poker online has a chat room.

I have a couple of people like that at my work. It does beg the question as to why they chose to work in a place that acters for hundreds of foreign students every year, but who am I to question that?

Indeed. It doesn't help that there are a lot of americans present, and that people were speaking french. Just very tedious and saddening.

Yeah I can imagine.

You are a braver man than me, I decided not to go for a run this morning 'cos I thought it looked a bit iffy outside. It's raining now, definitely not leaving the house today. I'm such a wuss!

Mind you, I've just come back because my knee was hurting too much. Might venture back out now I've got a bandage on, but I'm not sure it will help...

Racists? Or people insisting on all others speaking in English? The latter is actually usually the house rules to avoid colaboration and such. A little bit silly I guess but still...

If they are verbally abusing someone for being foreign though, Report them?

Nah, that is the house rules, but it's the usual stereotypes, piss-taking and general pointless antagonism that gets to me. The people speaking french were justified because they were trying to solve tech issues, and hosts were there and had seen the situation too.
