If you were me, where would you have put the other installation CDs that I seem to have mislaid?

I now have two computers set up, and am feeling thoroughly daunted by the task of getting the newer one set up in the same way as this one. I've spent three hours this afternoon updating Windoze, deleting various things that I won't be using, and tidying the desktop. Will review the advice I was given in my last post when I resume tomorrow, although I've a feeling that my longest tasks will be the least fruitful.

Had a nice weekend seeing Nadine, an old mate from uni, and numerous other people were in the pub too. As for now, I'm presenting the quiz in the Blind Poet tonight, so since in that quiz I have to write a round on the spot, it's time for me to find questions covering the dozen or so telly programmes that have a strong chance of being requested. I'm too tired to want to go out and do such things though! Ho hum...

Oh yeah I meant to mention in one of your computer posts that Norton has an great product out for copying hardrives and such, Ghost. It's mainly for backing up your hardrive but it also copies.

Try looking in your music cds. That is what usually has happened when I do that.

Hmm...they're generally kept pretty separate, so I'm not sure at all why that might happen :)

Ah she's looking good! We had a few drinks, and it was nice to catch up. Chuck her an e-mail - I'm sure she'd like to have a natter!

I'll see George on Friday - he's doing okay too! Got his own flat etc.

When you see George, please say hello from Dan and me. We tried to keep in touch, trying to call him each time we came up to Edinburgh, but his numbers changed, and at one point he had very paranoid (or ethical) ex-flatmates who wouldn't divulge details of new phone numbers so we lost touch.

Anyhoo - tell him we'd love to catch up again - maybe next time Dan and I are in the city we should all meet up for a pint. You too, Iain!!
