Follwing on from a conversation in the pub last night:

[Poll #731454]

In my continued experimentation with things to put in tortillas, the jury's out on mushy peas with mint sauce and scrambled eggs. Needs more pepper methinks.

You left out the "shagged someone else" part of the sentence ;o)

And that sounds minging by the way :oP

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought that was implicit in the choices!

[identity profile] bunnyphone.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
The sentence just sounds odd to me..."if someone you were with, would you prefer to hear"..."If someone you were with did x, would you prefer to hear" sounds better.

*shuts up*

;o)

It does sound better (and makes more sense now to me since I was a bit confused there :P)

youre so right

(poor sentence structure is a pet peeve)

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-19 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep, I realise on re-reading that I had indeed left out the main clause *sigh*

[identity profile] bunnyphone.livejournal.com 2006-05-21 12:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I win :D

[identity profile] littlemsmortis.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't want to hear either of those statements.
And I'm really unsure about that tortilla filling btw *shudder*.

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Well indeed, but Hobson's Choice and all that :)

[identity profile] lyra.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
hmm you know, the more I think about this the more I can't make my mind up :)

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Aye it could be a tough one certainly. More I think about it, the more it depends on the person.

spageheti bolognaise with lots of cheese is good, although a bit messy

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmmm :)

[identity profile] purplerabbits.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I answer from the point of view of non-monogamy. But I shall add a rule in future that I do *not* get told how I compare in terms of better or worse shag (fortunatley no-one has been rude enough so far to say...)

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I should hope not too, unless you ask!

[identity profile] faerycake.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd be pretty fucked off about either to be honest :P

[identity profile] cheekbones3.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Well aye! That's not an option though :o)

[identity profile] cr4k.livejournal.com 2006-05-18 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
this question was so easy: if someone doesnt like you, you shouldnt be going out with them anyway, but if you are a shit lay that stays with you forever haha

Nah everyone can be taught new tricks ;) but you can't change someone's personality/ interests.

[identity profile] cr4k.livejournal.com 2006-05-19 09:32 am (UTC)(link)
You like to teach your men tricks? Do they get a bone for doing it right? *snigger*
