Slayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Right, off I go to see Slayer et al, mustn't forget my earplugs. I'm fully intending just to watch and take it easy at the back, but I'm not sure I'll be able to hold myself back! It's been too long!

Oh no!!

Not bad at all! Funny set though, they played almost nothing from the Bostaph era, and did most of their war-themed songs. The new stuff worked pretty well, but not much encore. All in all, pretty standard, but could have been a good bit better. Maybe next time it won't feel like they're just going through the motions!

Next time

Cool, cheers! You don't happen to know if NIN has sold out yet do you? I was looking for tickets after if got announced, and there didn't appear to be any on sale, but I think they've possibly gone by now :o(

Earplugs for Slayer, now that makes sense.

I went to see The Divine Comedy last night and noticed a couple of people faffing around with them, though the volume was disgustingly reasonable. WTF?

Hmm, not exactly what you'd expect for that sort of gig!
