Well that was a pretty stunning storm all told. I was luckily on a bus when it hit us at Haymarket, and the south side of Princes Street was a river flooding up to the gardens' fence as we went up there. Heaviest rain I've seen in years!

nearly got electrocuted in farmfoods as the rain poured through the shop front ceiling part behind the stands near the till - and onto the electric sockets!

Mark's mother was thrown out of Sainsburys at Cameron Toll. That's how his father put it. The place was evacuated due to flooding.

This sucks, finally a decent thunderstorm and I'm 3000 miles away.
*sulks*

The room in Mark's flat is empty but he had offered it to someone else. He should find out whether or not they want it tomorrow or Sunday.

Okay, I'll keep my options open for now. Where is it by the way?

Okay, I'm not too interested in living further south than I am already - thanks for the info though! Hope your granddad improves.
