Well, that was London then - had a nice relaxing weekend between Hyde Park (very big, has ducks) and Wembley, (very big, has ducks, probably). Here, have a couple of pictures! First one is taken on the train down, the only clear (ish) picture I managed to get of two funnel clouds near Darlington on Saturday. The camera focussed on the raindrops on the glass otherwise!

Oh and by the way, Muse were stunningly brilliant, better than last year, the huge venue helped. There's a good review of Saturday's show in todays Independent which sums things up better than I, the only difference being the support acts, which on Sunday weren't really to my tastes.

First band on were Shy Child, a two-piece drums and synth act (sort of Muse via White Stripes, or possibly a very pop Cubanate) I quite liked, then Biffy Clyro who didn't really grab me and make me want to listen, although they had a couple of interesting-sounding songs. My Chemical Romance sounded better than when I saw them last summer when they were utterly chronic - the sound system treated them more kindly yesterday, but they're still emo pish.

Wow, would be so cool to see Muse. You're lucky.

I came across My Chemical Romance on the telly and thought they sounded like Status Quo.

They didn't sound so original to me...
