Realised earlier that the attacks last weekend outside the entertainment places in England and the airport in Scotland (apparently all by doctors) isn't actually anything to do with the Middle East, it's a protest against th smoking ban! It's all so obvious now.

You might be on to something. One thing I've noticed about Asian doctors, who've come over here to do more studying/training, is that they tend to smoke. I'm basing this on the ones I met in several hospital staff accomodation. They got rather pissed off when I asked them not to smoke in the common room so I threw the ashtray out the window and stormed out the room. Judging by the smell of the room after that I pretty sure that they did stop smoking in there.
