It's that blog thing again

Well it looks like The Haunted are supporting Slayer in the UK. Anyone know if they're any good?

In other news, I won a month of free training with British Military Fitness and went a first session tonight. I've now become one of those muppets in a coloured bib running round the Meadows and getting in the way, so for the next month I'm going to use that to try to get my fitness up to a decent level, as it's quite an intense hour of gerbilness. Not the most interesting of training, but there might be some variety in the sessions.

This Sunday it's Scotland v Lebanon in the European Cup, so I'm off to watch that to make up for not being able to go see England v Australia the previous evening, which should be a bit more intense. I'm interested to see how strong the Lebanese will be - I imagine they'll be on a par with Scotland's lower level Super League standard, but I don't actually know what their squad is like at the moment.

Korfball league matches haven't kicked in yet, two weeks hence we meet the top two teams from the last two seasons to open our campaign. Ouch! Hopefully, we'll scrape at least one win, but we'll have to play bloody well. Anyway, I'm babbling now. I wasn't before, you understand.

A bloke here thinks they are the best thing ever. I have quite liked the stuff I've heard — rich harmonic and melodic stuff. That makes them sound like folk singers but they are pretty heavy.

Hmm, I'll add them to my list. Cheers!
