Seems to me that only in the last few weeks that the actual written content on my friends page has dropped markedly. Either I've been blocked by a few people, or there's much less writing going on here, and I suspect it's the latter. Why would I post stream-of-conciousness nonsense here when there's a status update to be made? I've probably been as lax as anyone lately, so I'm making more of an effort to do random little posts like this at least you'll be pleased to know.

Yeah, I'm been too knackered to post much in months.

I think a lot of people are off and away at the moment. It's all awfully quiet.

You at least appear busy due to your links postings and occasional polls.

I think I tend to post longer pseudo meaningful stuff here...

I'm actively trying to write more, as I realise that status updates on various sites has taken the usual inane content of lj posts. I find it therefore amusing that you notice a drop in writing, but then I am not the only person in the world... ;)

For me it's a job thing.

I get no access at work, but can do facebook updates easily from my Blackberry. Don't often have the time to think out a proper post & excepting the odd meme, don't tend to post otherwise.

Still reading though!

I suppose ease is one main thing. I know this place set up mobile posting, but I seem to remember it working in the US only or something.

I feel sad about livejournal too, but then I'm totally contributing to it by hardly ever posting either! I really need to make more effort :(

also, I've been noticing that recently I've been able to go back to my lj and read about things I did at university, it's been a really good way of remember when things happened and in what order - so I should keep it up really!!

Aye, it's quite a resource for me too, mainly to think how bloody childish I sounded at times! Nearly ten years, wow. Of course I don't sound childish any more nowadays.
