Well Tony Benn last night was excellent-makes me realsie that I actually need to develop some arguments for the few views that I purport to have on the world.

It's raining as usual.

Had an in depth natter with Cecilia (my lovely ex) after the show last night which was very useful, and hopefully made her realise that I'm actually just a bit shit where it comes to emotions. But then she already knew that, but maybe not to the extent that I'd dump her rather than deal with it. I'm working on it though! And I still think there was quite a bit of merit in my decision, since being single right now is okay, and is opening new doors. Hopefully we'll get back to not feeling awkward in eachother's presence...

Must go to bloody work now. 28 days to go.

Moving to Manchester to do my PGCE next month. I would contemplate returning to London upon completion, except there is no way I would be able to afford a mortgage in My Spiritual Home (Highgate). I pretty much refuse to live anywhere else. So may have to board Mancunian property ladder and see where it takes me. Shame, as family / friends / boyfriend are all in London... oh well, will have to get new ones :) (not family)

Ah cool...Whereabouts in Manchester will you be? I havwe a few connections with that place from uni...haven't been there for a while though. I suppose all the people I met from there are working all over the country just now. There are a couple of good clubs though (Well I say that as a rock fan...)

You went to university there? Which one / what year / which subject?

I'm hoping to get a place off Wilmslow Road between Fallowfield and Withington. Doubt that Didsbury will be in my budget! Going flat-hunting with Ellie (friend who is moving from Liverpool to share with me) on Monday, and get to see my good friend Dan at the same time (who I'll be staying with in Didsbury, he has a fantastic flat). Normally when I go out, I go to Smile, just behind platform 13 of Piccadilly station - ever heard of it?

I actually went to uni in Edinburgh, but I met loads of people from manc, and went to a few parties and stuff while I was down there. They mainly stay towards Stockport in the posh bits (or did anyway).

I can't say I've ever heard of Smile, but it seems like the sort of place I wouldn't touch with a bargepole! If it was called Growl, then maybe...

Okay it looks alright actually! Still probably not rocky enough for lil ole me!
I used to go to Monday nights in the Ritz, and if I'm ever there on a weekend, I'll go to Jilly's! I love those places!
