There's a rapper called Nelly at number one I believe-I saw a picture of Nelly, and it looked like a bloke...is Nelly a male rapper with a girl's name, or just a terribly ugly woman?!

I've no idea! I only saw one picture, and it didn't have a plaster then! I feel sorry for him being called Nelly though...I'm wonder what my great auntie Nelly thinks about it!

i've heard of him before (well, you know. used to sell his cds), but i've always wondered about the name ... nelly as i know it is an american slang word meaning something along the lines of "extremely camp", and with the macho reputation of rappers, i'm intrigued to know how he got to be called that.
