I've been wondering for a while why it seems that Edinburgh's graveyards have been vandalised, with tombstones lying down all over the place. Then I hear a news snippet about some gravestone falling over and killing a kid somewhere in England. I'm trying to hold it in, but I have to say...

FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!!!!!!

Does nothing just happen by accident in this country any more? Must everyone blame someone? Fecking litigation!

how does a gravestone fall over and kill a kid, unless it was a very small child, but still - move when it starts to fall.

Indeed. It just annoys me that it can't just be put down to chance or bad luck, and that someone has to take the blame - could it not be the case that something just broke?

A lot of the tombstones have been knock over by the council as they seem unsafe to the public and expect the relative to sort them out. Unfortunatly alot of these tombstone will be long and forgotten grave due to time and the will probally stay like that for enternaty! There are however some arseholes (mainly kids) that cannot ressit knocking them over!
