Hmmm...Ozzfest was fun, if a little badly organised....only ten percent of the crowd allowed anywhere near the stage, without telling us beforehand? Bastards. Tool were impressively tight (Pink Floyd of metal anyone?), System Of A Down were excellent, apart from having to cut their favourite song due to the huge crush and subsequent fall of one of the barriers keeping most of us away from the near-stage area...Slayer were good in a way, apart from the death of one of the guitars during a song, and the former legend Dave Lombardo fluffing some of the old favourites. Ah well. I feel I've nearly recovered from the effects of exposure combined with sunburn which is nice, and my ear has stopped burning from the effects of being ice blasted now. I love British weather. No really...well the hailstorm certainly enlivened the Cradle Of Filth set, as everyone in the crowd suddenly got very friendly with eachother, for fear of hypothermia mainly.
Now I'm knackered, and am missing our usual Sunday cards session, but at least I'll not have to rush to get to the quiz, which I was hoping to have a night off from, if only Dave had checked the phone messages at all today*grrrr* Ah well-I'll just do even less work in hell tomorrow.
