It's a shame that people have to hide themselves from other people in what they do and say, for fear of causing offence. I know I do it myself too, because some people need it, but I think there's also a case for desensitisation being very useful, or possibly facing one's daemons and living life with one's head out of some mental sandpit. Vague rant over. Oops, time for bed, footy starts in three hours...damn the World Cup for making me get up early every day for four weeks...

Yay! I remembered a latter-sleep dream...I was in India for some reason with a friend, and we were walking about for no apparent reason, playing along with the local kids who were pretending to shoot us, then I saw a snake, and it was wah! Then I couldn't tun around without virtually treading on one! I wasn't panicked, just sodding scared of getting bitten, which I seemed bloody unable to do...the first one seemed to get the sleeve of my leather jacket (Don't ask me why I was wearing that in a hot, cattle-loving country), then the yellow ones were onto me! They were all over the street, and I was left to pivot backwards, legs in the air style using the back of a chair! All this time, my friends was sat on the floor meesing with his shoes, and having no apparent problems. He did seem worried when a yellow snake got me twice on one knee. Hmmm....then I woke up as I was a bit sick of being chased by snakes. Anyway, I'll go away now.
