Fun day yesterday, and impromptu as the best days often are.

Firstly made the most of cybik being in town and went to watch Pan's Labyrinth, which is a great film. I wasn't sure where it was going at first, but it turned out to be a stunning juxtaposition of harsh nasty reality (the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War), and a child's fantastic adventure, in the true old fairy-tale style. The word "bittersweet" was probably invented for this story. Well, no it wasn't, but you know what I mean. We then went to meet henriksdal and drifted through town while she took pictures of nice things. cybik left, as she was leaving town again unfortunately, and after more walking, myself and henriksdal went to the pub and were joined by feedergirl for beer. She then took us to meet withmaleficent and another friend for more beer, we drank until close, and a good time was had by all. I like these days off work, especially when they're filled with fun and friends.

Today I went to work, did a little bit of actual work and spent quite a lot of time playing Excel-based games, and I'm now planning to do sod all this evening, unless anyone can remind me who said they were off to the pub or something. Even that might not persuade me to venture out again.

Tomorrow, bunnyphone gets back, which should be good, and then it's the weekend then Hogmanay. Woo!
