I was in Italy!

Back from a week of relaxation and (mainly) sweating. Good to see some of these places, although luckily didn't have to do too much touristy stuff or look at statues all day long, as they get dull after a couple of hours!

Not sure if many of you dear readers were about in the halcyon days of the Holyrood Tavern in Summer '98, but a lovely lass that worked there called Angela appears to have died, back at the end of 2005. Something in the back of my mind tells me that I heard she was ill, but to read this gave me quite a shock.

Ah well, I hope she's still dancing as energetically as she did wherever she might be now, the only goth I knew in Edinburgh to do more than a glorified two-step. Much more! Not sure I'll forget her movements to Sisters of Mercy - she put everyone to shame :o)
