Does anyone understand the point of heaters that are placed directly above doors out of buildings? They generally appear to be switched on on a cold day, I presume to give the poor unfortunates a nice warm blast. I find however that on my way out, it over-warms my head making it feel much colder as I step outside which is not pleasant. On the way in it's not so bad, although it does detract from the pleasant warmth of the building, again by giving the hot blast to the head.

That is all added to the silliness of heating air right next to an oft open doorway, almost as silly as the situation someone keeps causing in the work bogs where the window has been open all winter above the radiator which is blasting out.

Aren't I positive at the moment?!
