First of all, I'm grumpy because I've broken the doodah on the back of one of my speakers. I foolishly assumed that it would take less energy to unscrew than it would to break off. I wonder if it's reparable, we shall see.
As for the festive period just gone, I had a very nice relaxing time of it, firstly at my mum's then at my dad's with endless baths, then Dublin with good friends and further relaxation. I really needed it as it allowed me to let go of the stress that I finally equated with my symptoms of duff guts, and which I'm now managing to keep on top of, which is good. It's also nice being able to eat bread again, although I won't be going back to anywhere near the loaf-a-day I was consuming at my peak.
What else is going on? Well the korfball season is back in full swing, so as President I'm looking to recruit more people (and succeeding a little) as well as trying to raise funds, which I'm just plotting for the moment. If nothing else, I'm keeping up my averaging of scoring once per game, which means I've already doubled my total from last year when I was totally a beginner.
Quizzing continues as ever, my taste for board games is high right now, and I quite fancy getting my head round poker again, as that's been sadly neglected in lieu of a social life. I also spent all my money on curtains.
