That was a week
Sep. 19th, 2009 10:31 amIt was the first Super League play-off game last night at Headingley. Chev Walker had the unfortunate pleasure of being tackled by Keith Senior...Crunch
In other news, it's been a busy week or two at work, but I'm off until Tuesday now which is nice. Went to see Billy Connolly last night, and he was excellent as hoped, although he's just starting to appear (mentally at least) like a slightly doddery old man, which is strange. The joke about the baby elephant's trunk was worth the entry fees itself!
What else? Korfball appears to be happening, and much better than a year ago. I suppose a year's experience, and what appears to be more enthusiasm from people around the place all makes things seem like they'll run more smoothly this year!
Sammhuin prep is going on, and I'm almost blissfully unaware of it. I don't know what it is about this time of year, but it's almost like I want to enjoy the onset of Autumn without such distractions. In fact, maybe instead of finding a beach today, finding a forest to walk in might be a good idea.
Right, I should really have some (more) brekky. Weetabix with honey? Okay then.
