Well the triathlon was painful and tiring! However, I did very well - fenced better than ever, almost got my best chess score ever despite throwing two games away stupidly, and ended with 26 points out of 48 to give me ninth place. I migth have been close to winning something with an increase in my beer intake, although I fear my chess may have suffered. Saw sharmaya who was visiting along with queenofsmut and imagesandwords, and faerycake made a great cheerleader! Went to the Mission afterwards for a wee while, and then collapsed for many hours until this afternoon, where it was lovely and warm on my walk home.

Finsternis was pretty good too, and my blushing muscles have been well used this weekend at various times! In recent news I've been judged and found wanting, but then every pot of gold has a lead bottom. And so to ironing and snooker!

I didn't mean to judge, just tell you off a bit in the hope of encouraging you to put a bit more energy into Beltane. I've learned in the past your enthusiasm sometimes needs a gentle prod:P And you know you'll get more out of it if you put more in, etc, etc....(sorry)
