I was going to go out for breakfast, but not it's snowing heavily, that makes it even more worthwhile! Black Medicine I think I'll go to for a change :O) I've not eaten out for breakfast in about three years I think. Should do it more often, but such is the working/sleeping life...

Nice photo.

Breakfast out is a decadent and civilised experience.

No snow for us.

Give our love to the Edinburgh climes!!

You're probably glad at the lack of snow I'd guess though!

You don't want snow if you're cycling through it, with the wind blowing at you and whipping the snow into your face. It still stings and that was from this morning. Also it seems to have turned to ice along the canal path, not good.
Which Black Medicine do you go to? I live about a minute from the Marchmont branch, so I go there most often, (very often, actually, almost every weekend that I'm in Edinburgh I'm there on one of Saturday or Sunday) though I think I might like the Nicolson St branch better. Except for the smoke. Grr.

I was in the Nicolson St one since I live down Newington way, although give me a shout next time you're in the other one if you want a more sociable experience.

Regarding snow, yes I agree - any amount of liquid in the air in whatever form is generally a pain in the arse. As for ice, I've stopped liking it ever since I tried to pull a skid outside my house and pulled the wrong brake... *splat*

Well the food was adequate, but I enjoyed being out and reading my paper :O)

Aye - shame we don't see eachother more. If you're always out doing lunch when you're working, give me a shout if you want me to join you one day! Not sure if I can do Chinese though :O)

Got another pile of books for you too.
