~ Scan my interest list and pick out the one that seems the most odd to you.
~ I'll explain it.
~ Then you post this in your journal so other people can ask you about your interests.

When I first started playing online in 1995 I discovered online chat rooms, the one I became a regular in was called Virtual Blarney. Those were great days where there was bugger all security, so you could annoy the hell out of people by changing your name to their's and pretending to be them (not that I did that much)...it also crashed a lot, and there was no such thing as Java...anyway, this place evolved into Paddynet, before it disappeared completely a few years ago. You can still find remnants of people about the place if you search for them...

I'm a nosy bugger - I enjoy watching people. I suppose you can take that to dubious conclusions, although it's rare that people do anything particularly interesting with curtains open :o)

Listening to sports coverage and in a particularly tense or exciting situation to have the commentator go absolutely ape-shit as well just adds to the whole feeling of it for me! In fact this sort of thing is most likely to bring me to tears, as sad as it is, but I need some way to let myself go now and again I suppose. The same thing works for listening to old events over and over again - it can instantly bring tears to my eyes! For one of the best examples, search for Don Fox, 1968 Challenge Cup Final...

They are the current British/European club Rugby League champions (for the first time since 1972), and happen to be the team I've grown up being devoted to. I'll be off to seem them along with 40,000 other intrepid souls play for the World Club Championship against the Australian champions Canterbury Bulldogs in a couple of weeks...

It's a play by e-mail game I'm involved with - I currently have four teams competing, and have never won anything with any of them. It's a rare game that lets you build your team from scratch, train it, employ whatever tactics you want, and all for free. You can pay for extras too.

I like the idiosycrasies of our language, and am interested in using them lots and protecting them getting swamped by non-regional phrases and Americanisms!

Doom? Is that the game, or just... doom? The latter would kind of be funnier but I don't think it's very 'you' :P

I guess I'm similarly inspired my Murray Walker - but that's more laughing at his Murray-isms :-)

Well you read Tarot yourself - you know what it's about! Prediction interests me, and I want to try to get better at it - it's curious and amusing when a reading goes well!

paddynet.
but it's already been explained.

Leeds Rhinos - my flatmate was mad about them. Really hated Wigan and St. Helens.

I don't really follow it. I just know who the Rhinos are. I think that's pretty good for a girl like me!
