cheekbones3Well it looks like I'm going to be in Edinburgh over the summer - going to take a room in a flat I used to live in on East Mayfield. This gives me a little more stability at least, which is nice, and I can maybe look to get office monkey work in September until the end of the year when I fully intend to re-apply for the jobs I barely missed out on this time round. I'll be working during the festival at the Pleasance, so will be serving poor quality fizzy booze to lots of famous people no doubt. This is obviously an important step on my personal career ladder.
Quite enjoyed the quiz last night after a few quiet weeks - it was good to be playing to a full house again! Long may it continue. The jackpot is getting rather large too, which is also a help.
I feel like I've been neglecting people lately - want to see more of my lovely friends. (No more of the icky ones though (O: ), so if any of you are free for coffee sometime today, or something tonight, give me a shout. I'm free anytime apart from 15.45 to 17.00! Not sure who's working and/or off and available or whatever. I may even pester someone directly if I'm feeling brave.
