Not a bad little weekend there. Took the end of my finger off with a peeler which was fun, but at least it got me out of skinning apples for bunnyphone's cake. Went and ate said cake at the abode of andabusers and had a lovely day eating pizza there too along with meowpurrr and chuma, and playing random games, and watching telly. Spent Sunday doing bugger all apart form playing the odd bit of poker and eating...

Good weekend rugby-wise too...Bradford beat the Aussie champs in the season opener, and my boys East Leeds beat the rivals Milford to get the second round of the Challenge Cup, probably to get hammered out of sight by a professional team. I think even Scotland's victory in the fifteen-man version of the game merits a mention too, for its sheer unexpectedness!

Fast-forward to Monday. Playing poker and doing bugger all, and the beautifully clean kitchen that I left yesterday is back to its usual state of muck and mouse food everywhere. There's just no hope!

Yay! A minor triumph of disgust. I normally only manage that when people are in my company...

It wasn't actually that bad, but it did go through the finger and nail. I'm sort of glad it wasn't sharp...
