Well, it's the Christmas chart this Sunday, and I was well behind in checking what the runners and riders were doing last week, so imagine my surprise when I saw that Take That had held on to the top spot after a strong challenge from Cliff Richard! This week's interest will be for the number 2 spot, as we all know and are thoroughly bored with what's going to be at the top. Well, I know the origin of the chart-topper, but I don't know the name of the person, or what they'll be belting out, and I don't imagine I'll be rushing to find out, except for purposes of completeness.

In other news, I got back together with Lorraine which surprises me almost as much as it might surprise you! Got some excellent pressies too (no, there's no connection between those two events...*ahem*), and am off back to the land of my spawning for a couple of days tomorrow. Am therefore back on Sunday and gagging for social events to grace!

I remember when i used to religiously listen to the chart show on sundays, now i have absolutley no idea whats number one, ever!

I think the chart's got a lot better in the last three years or so, and will be even more interesting in the new year when the requirement for a song to be available in physical format is dropped. This download effect is changing it back to how it used to be...
