Sodding 'eck. Is Firefox crashing as much for anyone else as it is for me at the moment?

Yep. I was waiting till Firefox 2 had settled in before I upgrade but something tells me I better do it soon!

I would like to say my firefox is behaving but I can't simply because if I say that it will suddenly start to crash. Am I making any sense?

Working fine for me. 2.0.0.1

The only problem I've seen recently was on a machine where Java hadn't been installed, and when it went to a Java-using website it crashed repeatedly. In the end I went there with IE and that installed Java for me, and then going back with Firefox was fine.

I think it's BBC news website. Have a look and see if it's always crashing on that. I think the scroller might use java and if you leave firefox open with it running, the memory used goes up cumulatively till it gets a java OutofMemoryError and crashes on yer ass. I get it a lot because I run other programs which use java too and I guess it magnifies the problem. I even raise the java memory ceiling on the other apps....
