Well I didn't get into the Scotland korfball squad, possibly because I've only been playing the sport for five months. I did however score a basket from close to the halfway line, which was pleasing, even if it was an awful effort. A bit of a flapper, as Eddie Waring might have said, but it dropped in.

In other news, good to see Leeds start the Super League season with a comeback win over Hull KR. Shame I couldn't join the 18,000+ throng, but hopefully will at the end of the month when we play Melbourne for the World Club trophy.
