Date: 2003-01-13 02:08 am (UTC)I guess the idea is that people sometimes don't like to tell you what they really think of you because it might affect the friendship/relationship,
This misses out two important points:
1. Good friends tell you the truth. It's the job description.
2. Lots of people think lots of things about me. I need to know who it is that holds a particular opinion before I can respect it.
