Can passion exist without love? Can love exist without passion?
Greek mythology: Cupid takes the form of a stubby, rather ugly child, until united with Eros [I think] who is passion, his brother. Cupid then becomes a very handsome young man. I'm not sure what form he was in when he seduced Psyche.

Hmmm...I think I started something here! The two things certainly aren't exclusive of eachother, but they certainly can cloud eachother!

I thought Cupid and Eros were just Roman and Greek equivalents?

On the Mythic tarot deck, Cupid is in handsome form when with Psyche (who is also rather nymph-like and erm doable, for want of a better phrase...)

I might be wrong with the name of Eros - but Cupid has a brother symbolising passion, I'm not sure of his name though.
I'm never sure - the boundaries of lust and love are not that well defined.
Ah - do you go for the greek goddess, pre-raphaelite type of woman then?
