Whee! In quite a good mood! Cricket has just been called off tonight, so I can go and enjoy my pints that I said I'd have tonight without having to rush lots.

Am looking to the future quite optimistically too, got a job application to fill in (should also do that tonight), the tenuous emotional situation is still ongoing in the flat, but since I no longer have anything to hide I can be very straight and put the onus on Lorraine to deal with how she feels without feeling too guilty. Shame I would have to worry lots though if any potential romance started happening, but I suppose that bridge can be crossed if and when necessary since all is quiet at the moment...

Tomorrow will be a rush - got to get to a piss-up with ex-workmates in town straight after work, then have to get to Morningside to watch Beltane video by eight with Lorraine, because I said I'd go and she won't go on her own. Then I'll be back across town to Holyrood and Nexus. WOnder when I might eat?

Troublegum is undoubtedly my favourite album of the moment - the atmosphere of some of the closing tracks with wonderful vocals and cello going on, and the general angry energy about it all is just brill :O)

One hour to go, and my eyes aren't quite dead yet...
