Woo - my head's a mess! In fact, I've just decided to have a look at what's happened in my twenty-sixth year.

Started off in the midst of my masters degree, and working part-time at Scot Eq. Love life consisted of Lorraine (unofficially). That all came to a head - I eventually laid down what I really wanted with Lorraine and got past most of the crap I'd built up about myself which made me lie about stuff. Felt much better. Things with Lorraine have progressed since then, and most issues have been ironed out now, with us definitely being friends and nothing else, although things can be strained sometimes. I'm glad I'm more open with the world in general, although to be honest I find it quite difficult to actually say/do what I really want sometimes. Getting better though.

Work life moved on - finished my studies, left Scot Eq to do a full time placement and complete my dissertation. This all went well, sixty pages of work scored reasonably well, and I got my MSc. No work since then, although I'm working on it...

Overall - met a lot of new people/friends and a few old ones, stopped being such an arsehole within my head. Got another degree. Now need to get work, give life a severe kick up the arse and get out of this rut!

Pat yourself on the back there, Ian. That sounds like an impressive year of personal growth and scholastic achievement!

In fact, you've inspired me to write something in my journal. take a peek :)
