After all the advice I received, my judgement of the situation was that it was better to write a letter. At least then I could get my thoughts out properly, and C is under no pressure to even respond if she doesn't want. So will I be contacted on Tuesday night or Wednesday? I doubt, but it was cathartic. Now I can get on with my life, and I've no need to worry until the ball comes back into my court, if it ever does!

I hope it all works out the way you want it to. Even if it doesn't, at least you've tried to do something about it. That's a very good thing.
