Shame the fog disappeared - it's so fickle in this town. Saw Bridget Jones tonight, wasn't in the mood for it though, although it was quite enjoyable. I should really go to bed - I struggled to get up with my alarm this morning - not sure my body likes being awoken at 6:30 three days running, and four will be just nasty. Don't even mention Friday.

I think I'm planning to go out on Saturday for my birthday, although I've no grand plans. Possibly the Auld Hoose, maybe followed by the Mission. I'll think more when I'm in a livelier mood. You are all invited to whatever I do of course. It seems like months since I've just sat in a pub with a nice bunch of people and had a good conversation and a good laugh with some nice beer and good tunes and no angst. Let's all try that at the weekend shall we? That's it decided then - Auld Hoose - 8pm, quite possibly by the jukey, or over that side somewhere, maybe nearer the windows.

And since it's currently the Sagittarian period, are the people with birthdays at the moment all similar in any ways?

I'm supposed to be providing an old friend with a guided tour of Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon. I suspect this will actually translate into going to Princes Street Garden fair, followed by the German Market for lots of Mulled Wine.
