cheekbones3Well that was certainly an interesting weekend! I got an unconditional offer for the masters course I want to be on (yay), I won £100 on the Grand National (Yes I know it's morally reprehensible, but did you ever hear me saying I had morals?), and then I went to a party and got absolutely trolleyed on four drinks. I haven't drunk for a month, which didn't help, but more to the point, they were all at least double vodkas, and once I had one, my sensible bits were broken, and I had way too much. Twenty-four hours later, I'm almost starting to feel human again, my stomach is just starting to become less like storage chamber for hot oleum, and I don't wish to vomit any more.
Did the Blind Poet quiz for a change too, since Dave's lost his voice, and couldn't have coped with shouting in a busy pub like the poet, and I've just made sandwiches to take to work tomorrow! It's only seven months since I started there with good intentions of taking my own food every day...I think ironing a shirt would be a bridge too far. I'll wear last Thursday's one-it wasn't too smelly :O)
To the scratching pit it is then for an inadequate amount of slumber, lulled no doubt by the growling in my belly. Bon nuit!
