cheekbones3Currently got way too much adrenaline flowing. Am in the top 30 or so out of 350ish remaining people in this tourney, where the prize pool has finished at just under $30,000. Would be nice to hang on and reach the money, if not finish pretty high! I've got 13,920 chips after 65 minutes, so that's not too bad. Onwards and upwards!
International rugby results:
GB & Ireland 26 New Zealand 42
We got splatted as I predicted.
Wales 31 Ireland 8
Georgia 0 France 60
Wales v France in the Nations Cup final in Carcassonne after Ireland's big pack falter against a strong Welsh outfit. No surprise after they only scraped past Scotland last week...sounds like Scotland did very well to get as close to Wales as they did the other week however.
EDIT: now have 12,870 chips with 248 players left.
FURTHER EDIT: Finished 91st when a pair of tens beat my pair of jacks for a pot of 36,000. Ho hum, not far off the big money, and all for a $3 initial stake!
