cheekbones3Nice morning this morning. Jumped out of bed, and discovered that the supermarket doesn't open until 9am, so had a nice walk round George Square, and watched birds and squirrels foraging. Also saw the university chaplain in his fules robes with Adidas tracksuit visible at the bottom. Lovely to be out and about in town with bugger all other people around to spoil things!
Quite pleased with the draw for the first round of this season's Rugby League Cup; my old lads have a home draw against our arch-rivals Milford, and should be favourites. Gloucestershire Warriors did well to get this far, given that they're up against the hard-nosed winter teams in the main in this competitions, but I can't see them getting past Blackbrook, and we can probably say the same for St.Albans, but you never know!
Anyway, enough babbling: It's time now to go cycle round Arthur's Seat, and to demonstrate to people the difference between a cycle path and a footpath, by use of extreme speed and sqealing brakes.
