Well, hello! Had a lovely journey down to Yorkshireland through a stunningly frosted landscape. Now I'll jsut be getting fed and watered in a relaxing environment until I get back to Edinburgh, when I'll just do the job myself. Back up north on Christmas Eve, suspecting that I'll have a quiet time there too, filling up my new shelves and relaxing. Looking forward to it!

Happy birthday to all of those recently how I have to say it to, Dee, Keith and Bev spring to mind, although there are numerous others too given that a surprisingly large amount of people that I know have birthdays this month. I must work out the percentages at some point...

Also, sod this "happy holidays" generic nonsense. Happy Solstice for tomorrow, happy Yule, Saturnalia, Christmas for next week, and happy other celebrations you might be having.

Going to try to reduce the obliquity of my writings here too. Just to say, I'm dead happy that I'm back out with Lorraine! Also happy in general with friends and work and stuff, although it can always be better! See you all in the next couple of weeks.
