cheekbones3Just been and voted, my first ever Labour vote! Only for the region though, tactics won through. Stuck with Lib Dem for the constituency. As for the council, I had to go along party lines, although I gave my sixth preference to the Liberal Party (yes, not the Lib Dems) and my seventh to the independent, cos I'm nice like that.
No Nationalists (British or Scottish) got votes (from me anyway), and the random Tory candidate who stood in the lobby of the polling station mumbling to himself didn't engender any desire to vote for that bunch either.
Beltane was good, very nice and once I got used to the cold, fun too. Not the wonderful group togetherness we had last year, but great to be part of it all, and our handfasting was sweet!
